The World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering will be held September 7-12, 2009 in Munich, Germany this year. The meeting is held every three years and organized by the IUPESM (International Union for Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine) and is expected to draw more than 4000 visitors this year. The theme of this year’s meeting is “For the Benefit of the Patient.”

While the meeting was announced a while ago, the deadline for paper submissions to be included in the proceedings has been pushed back to April 15, 2009, so there’s still some time to get in.  Paper topics are as follows: 1.
